Kaitlin's Greyhound Tennis
Meet Kaitlin

Welcome to Kaitlin's Greyhound Tennis!
I am a Bel Air mom of three (Madelyn, Colton and Matthew) looking to spread my love of tennis and being active with our community.
I started playing tennis when I was 3 at our pool and tennis club in town. I graduated high school being team captain and ranked #3 in Connecticut. From there I received a tennis scholarship to Loyola and played D1 tennis for all 4 years. 17 years out of college, I still hold the record for most singles wins in Loyola history. I taught lessons from my freshman year in high school through my 20s. I taught elementary school in Baltimore City for ten years after college and worked at several local clubs teaching tennis during my summers off.
In 2012, I became an Under Armour ambassador after winning their What’s Beautiful competition where I started a fitness club in my school empowering young girls through exercise and mental toughness. This partnership with UA was extended for 5 years. In the last 8 years I’ve focused on raising my three kids you see in this picture. In 2022 I started coaching the John Carroll girl’s varsity and JV teams and in 2023 I became the assistant coach for their boys team. Only because of Covid and my husband working from home was I able to finally find some freedom to get back into what I love. I started to create lessons to force myself to get my own kids out to play, but once I saw an interest from others I decided to give it a whirl. And here we are! My goal in our lessons is to make the participants have fun and love tennis, to give them a chance to be competitive in games and drills and to get exercise and realize getting fit can be fun! Hope you can join us!
