What do I need to bring to a lesson?
You bring a racket, water and a signed waiver. I’ll have the rest!
What kind of racket do I need?
Adults- Head down to Holabird Sports and tell them I sent you. They are the racket experts and will put some good options in your hands based on your level of play. They have a wall you can hit on and oftentimes will let you take them home to demo for a few days.
Kids- See the chart on my home page that shows ages and sizes and includes a link to purchase. Adults- I highly recommend you take a ride down to Holabird Sports. They are racket experts and can have you test a few out. There is a HUGE difference between a $25 racket from Target and a $100+ racket from Holabird. If you’re investing time and money into tennis (and you don’t want your balls to fly off your racket like a trampoline), grab a solid racket.

When is payment due?
Payment is due at registration. I used to ask for it at the class but I realized it was out of sight, out of mind after registration and I spent too much time requesting payments when people forgot.
My child is a total beginner. Will he be totally behind?
No! Most of the kids I teach are beginners and those who have been playing regularly know to age up to keep it challenging. Beginners are fine to register in their age group.
What if I can’t make a lesson that I’m signed up for?
Cancellations within 24 hours and seasonal bulk sessions are nonrefundable. But if you want to shoot me an email, I can try to find a sub for you. If and when that happens, I will forward their payment along to you.
Do you give private lessons?
Unfortunately, with so many groups and 3 kids of my own going in all directions, I do not have time for private lessons.
My child loves tennis and wants to play in the next session. Do you know when registration will be up?
Unfortunately my entire tennis business revolves around my own kids sports schedules which change each season. Being a planner myself, not knowing which nights I’ll be free to teach the following month kills me but I’m at the mercy of whatever schedules they get for sports. The second I put the puzzle together of where they need to be, how I’ll get them there and when I can teach, I’ll post for all. This is why there are drop in sessions between each season package. To buy me a little time to figure it all out. Thank you for your patience- I know most of you know #MomLife.
Classes are all filled. Do you have a waitlist?
Yes! Email me and tell me which class you’re trying to get into. I can let you know if anyone pulls out or if they need a sub.
